Finished work on real clients, in the rooms it was made for.
Everything shown across this site is a real client in a real garment, photographed where it was worn. None of it is stock and none of it is generated. That is worth stating because it is increasingly unusual, and because it is the only kind of evidence that means anything on a tailor's website.
What is in the pictures
- Signature suiting — warm-weather commissions in pale cloth, worn to speak in and be photographed in
- Blazers and jackets — the odd jacket that does most of the actual work in most wardrobes
- Tuxedos and eveningwear — black tie, the one place the rules genuinely repay obedience
- Bespoke for women — a growing part of the workroom, and the part people are most surprised by
- The fitting room itself, including garments still held together with white basting thread
The basted fittings are the ones worth looking at hardest. A garment at that stage looks worse than anything you would ever wear, which is exactly why it works: nothing is committed, so everything can still change.
